Over the past 3 decades I’ve had the honor of interviewing thousands of professionals about their experience of work. It continues to amaze me how often people dummy themselves down to fit into a job, leaving vast aspects of themselves…their aspirations, their creativity, their voices, their potential and their resources at home.

No wonder most organizations have relatively low engagement.¬† Try as they might, the leaders don’t know how or don’t presume it’s their role to help bring out the best in others.

It always starts with purpose and the ability to bring forward the best in ourselves.
